Spawning from a chance meeting with founder Miranda at TEDxBoston in 2013, I've had the opportunity to be a founding member of Miranda's Hearth, a community art organization, and help grow an idea to a vision to a tangible organization.

With a core mission of "building a community through creativity that is affordable, accessible, and approachable to people of all professions," Miranda's goal is to create a community art hotel in which everything is made by members of the community. While it might seem odd that an artist community would encourage people not actively involved in the arts to be members, it's that openness to new ideas that sets it apart.

Currently I write a monthly article on the organization from the eyes of a "non-artist."
